FUNERAL HELD:  Theresa Jette Boulet

 DATELINE: Swanton, Vermont

 

The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Thomas D. Nadeau was the celebrant and homilist. Joseph Gamache and Eugene LaBombard served as Ministers of the Altar and Mrs. Pauline Chadwick as Eucharistic Minister. Music was provided by soloist, Jeanne Begnoche accompanied by organist, Michael Olmstead. A large guard of honor was formed by members of the Nativity Parish Ladies of Saint Anne. The White Funeral Pall was draped over Theresa’s casket by her son, Alain and granddaughter Alaina Boulet. Alain then placed the Crucifix. Readings from both the Old and New Testament were proclaimed by Alaina’s husband Drew Ede.  Donna and Jacques Beaulieu presented The Offertory Gifts. Among the many delegations in attendance were representatives from, T.J. Max, Swanton Lumber Company, Peoples United Bank, Boudreau Electric, Porter’s Bike Shop, Flowers By Debbie, staff of the former Cornerstone and Fish Tales Restaurants, Ray’s Extrusion Die Service, Knights of Columbus, Saint Edmund of Canterbury Council 7669 and Fourth Degree Assembly 2207 of Swanton, Swanton Chamber of Commerce, Swanton Village Fire Department and Auxiliary, Missisquoi Valley Union High School including the Hot Lunch Program, My-T-Fine Restaurant, Bill’s Handyman Service, Shaggy’s Snack Bar, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Dexter Products, Northwestern Medical Center, The Paquin Group, Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington, Franklin County Home Health Agency and the Nativity / Saint Louis Parish Community. The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Boulet family lot in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery with Father Nadeau reading the committal prayers the bearers were, Alain Boulet, Drew Ede, Steven L’Esperance, Jacques Parent, Denis Boucher and Francois Boulet. Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held at the Nativity Parish Center hosted by Mrs. Joyce Bombardier and the Ladies of Saint Anne.
