FUNERAL HELD: Andrew Christopher Francis

DATELINE: Alburgh / Isle La Motte, Vermont

The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday December 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Saint Amadeus Roman Catholic Church. Father Dallas T. St. Peter was the celebrant and homilist. Justin Sharp and Lance Percy served as Ministers of the Altar. Music was provided by organist and soloist, Buffy Little. The White Funeral Pall was draped over Andrew's casket by, Gary Francis II and Gene Jarvis. Andrew's wife Tammy then placed the crucifix. Special Words of Remembrance were shared by, Frank Sesera. Readings from the Old and New Testament were proclaimed by Kristin Francis and Ashley Francis. Connor and Isabel Burke presented The Offertory Gifts. Among the large delegations in attendance were representatives from the, Colchester, Essex, Milton, Winooski and Burlington Police Departments, Isle La Motte Volunteer Fire Department and First Response, Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue, Essex Junction Fire Department, Colchester Fire Department, Burlington Little League, Barb and P.J. McHenry Prime Lending, Isle La Motte Town Offices, Saint Anne's Shrine, Lake Champlain Island United Methodist Parishes, Columbus Lodge #11 F.&A.M. of Alburgh, Isle La Motte Lodge #81 F.&A.M., Isle La Motte Country Store, Halls Orchards, Roland Decarreau Construction, Palmer Construction, Alburgh Historical Society, Alburgh Public Library Association, Chevalier Drilling, Vermont Precision Tools and Vermont Gage and the parish communities of Saint Amadeus, Saint Joseph's Mission and Holy Cross. The bearers were, Adam Francis, Frank Sesera, Gene Jarvis, John Quiser, William Little and Richard Jarvis. Following the liturgy a reception was held for family and friends in the Saint Amadeus Parish Center hosted by Maurice Gauthier.
