FUNERAL HELD: Virginia Elizabeth Greenia

DATELINE: Swanton / Highgate Center, Vermont

A Funeral Service was held Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 1 p.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home. Father Thomas D. Nadeau officiated. Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from the, Abenaki Nation of Vermont, Title VII Parent Advisory Committee, Circle of Courage, Ste. Marie’s Market, Salon Diva, Wesco, Northwest Counseling and Support Services, Swanton Village Offices, Highgate Town Offices, Franklin County Home Health Agency and Nativity / Saint Louis Parish Community. The Rite of Committal and Interment followed in Saint Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery Highgate Center with Father Nadeau reading the committal prayers. The bearers were Virginia’s four sons, Harold A. Greenia Jr., Jeff Greenia, Joseph Greenia, Robert Greenia, Michael Gagne and Robert Bedard. Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends at the Lamkin Street home of Virginia’s daughter Debra Greenwood.
