FUNERAL HELD: Bertha Lillian Jacobs

A Funeral Service was held Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home. The Reverend Anne Torrance Bachmann, pastor of the Memorial United Methodist Church officiated. Special Words of Remembrance were shared by nephews, David and Gary Thompson, niece, Ruthie Laroche and granddaughter, Tasha Hyde. Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from, Borderline Styles, Mylan Technologies, Swanton Rexall, Swanton Village Fire Department and Auxiliary, Swanton Town Offices, The Total Home Center, Mary S. Babcock and Swanton Central Schools, Franklin County Home Health Agency, The Saint Albans Messenger, Saint Albans Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Accent Travel, Saint Albans Dialysis Unit and the Northwestern Medical Center. Interment followed at the Thompson family lot in Maple Grove Cemetery, Franklin with Mrs. Jacob's nephew, Richard Thompson reading the committal prayers. The bearers all grandsons were, Justin Deuso, Richard Hyde, Allen Jacobs Jr., James Deuso II, Kenneth Chagnon and Kyle Jacobs. Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends at the Enosburgh Falls American Legion.
