FUNERAL HELD: Loretta Christine (Burgess) Johnson

A Funeral Service was held Thursday evening October 20, 2011, at 7 p.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home. The Reverend Doctor Marguerite C. Gage officiated. John Boomhover representing, Franklin Lodge #4 F&AM opened the service by offering Special Words of Remembrance. Others sharing words of remembrance were, Loretta's husband Christopher, her two sons Erik and Tyler, brother-in-law, Kimball Johnson, Chris Nelson President of the Franklin County Humane Society and neighbor The Reverend Mr. Gabriel Liegey. Among the large delegations in attendance were representatives from the, Franklin County Humane Society, Vermont ASQ, Milton Rescue, AmCare Ambulance Service, Missisquoi Valley Rescue, Paws for Thought, Husky, Price Chopper, Eaton's Fine Jewelry, Rococoscotties, Swanton Town and Village Offices, Chevalier Drilling, Miss Vermont Pageant as well as many Masonic Bodies from throughout the state of Vermont led by Grand Master of the Masons of Vermont Philip Morton. Interment followed Sunday, October 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the family lot in Lakeview Cemetery on Lake Willoughby with family friend Father Charles Davignon reading the committal prayers.
