FUNERAL HELD: Sister Joan Sirtowt, OSU

A Memorial Liturgy of Christian Burial was concelebrated Wednesday evening, June 23, 2010, at 7 p.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Thomas D. Nadeau was the celebrant and homilist. Concelebrating were Father Michael W. DeForge, former Diocesan Religious Education Director and now pastor of Saint Catherine of Sienna Parish, Shelburne and Father Jean Paul Laplante Pastor Emeritus of Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church, Highgate Center. The Reverend Mr. Gabriel Liegey assisted as Deacon and Quenten, and Calvin Tobin served as Ministers of the Altar. Music was provided buy organist and soloist, Gary Moreau. The Old Testament Reading was proclaimed by Sandra Renaudette and The New Testament Reading by Debbie Boucher. The Offertory Gifts were presented by Mary Ann Castonguay and Renee and Casey Boucher. Sister Joan served the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish community for 25 years as Director of Religious Education.
