FUNERAL HELD: Thelma M. "Peanut" Smart

DATELINE: Swanton, Vermont

A Funeral Service was held Saturday December 31, 2011, at 12 Noon from The Kidder Memorial Home. Father Thomas D. Nadeau officiated. Special Words of Remembrance shared by Father Nadeau were composed by Thelma's niece, Betty Lang. Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from Swanton Lumber Company, Holiday House Residential Care Home, Franklin County Rehab Center, Franklin County Home Health Agency - Hospice Program and Nativity / Saint Louis Parish. The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Bohannon family lot in Riverside Cemetery with Father Nadeau reading the committal prayers. The bearers were, Scott Hakey, Corey Hakey, Chad Bruyette, Richard Bruyette Jr., Travis Bruyette and Raymond Hakey, Jr.
