FUNERAL HELD: Faustine Raymond Rollo

DATELINE: Highgate Center, Vermont

The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday October 21, 2011, at 2 p.m. from Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church. Father Brian O'Donnell was the celebrant and homilist. John Ferland and Paul Laroche served as Ministers of the Altar. Music was provided by soloist and guitarist, Gail Perras. A guard of honor was formed by members of the Saint Louis Ladies of Saint Anne. The White Funeral Pall was draped over Mrs. Rollo's casket by her children, Linda Reader, Larry, Doug and Mark Rollo. Linda then placed the crucifix. Scripture readings from the Old and New Testament were proclaimed by, Amy Gerrity-Parent and Adam Fortin. The Offertory Gifts were presented by Cindy DeMarinis, Heather Dumeny, Karen Fortin and Nancy Commo. Among the delegations in attendance were representatives from the, Missisquoi Amateur Hockey Association, Highgate School District, faculty, students, staff and school board of the Franklin Central School. Missisquoi Valley Union High School X-Country Team and Coaches and the Nativity / Saint Louis Parish Community. The Rite of Committal and Interment followed at the Rollo family lot in Saint Louis Cemetery with Father O'Donnell reading the committal prayers. The bearers were, Brent Reader, Jason Rollo, David Rollo, Denis Gagne, Thomas DeMarinis, Brian Fortin, Shane Gerrity and Taylor Rollo. Following The Prayers of Committal a reception was held for family and friends in the Father Jean Paul Laplante Parish Center hosted by Mrs. Raymonde Choiniere and the Ladies of Saint Anne.
