Shirley was a loving and devoted Mother first and foremost.  She was a retiree of IBM and worked to support her children so they could have a better life.  She touched the hearts of many, bringing smiles to those she met with her larger than life persona.  She was known to be nurturing, bright, witty and all accepting of others.  Her demonstration of independence, determination and strong willed nature were life sustaining qualities.  She will be greatly missed and always remembered in the hearts of her children.
