DATELINE: Saint Albans Bay, Vermont Marcel
J. Baril, Jr., age 49 years, a lifelong Saint
Albans resident died Wednesday morning January 11, 2012, in the Fletcher
Allen Health Care Facility with loving family by his side. Born
in Saint Albans on November 5, 1962, he was the son of Marcel Sr. and Frances
Morin Baril. He attended Bellows Free Academy-St.
Albans and on August 8, 2008, was married to the former Debra Patterson who
survives him. Prior to his illness Marcel worked for over 20 years doing
field work on the David and Kathy Montagne Farm. He
was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 1090 in St. Albans as well as
the Green Mountain 4-Wheeler Club. In
addition to his wife Debra of St. Albans Bay, Marcel leaves his sons, Ricky
Travis Bluto and fiancée Mechelle
Roberts and M. Joseph Bluto and a daughter, Jeannie
Courtois and fiancée Michael Cline all of St.
Albans; his mother, Frances Garnet and her husband Arnold "Red" of
Milton; his mother-in-law, Shirley Patterson of St. Albans Bay; a sister, Theresa Johnson and husband Mike
and their son Todd and his wife Jennifer and their children, Paige and Camryn of Georgia, VT; eleven grandchildren, Randy, Cody,
Dustin, Dylan, Brittney, Rebecca, Joseph (Joey) Keaden,
and Chastity (Peanut), Michele and Brandy; great granddaughter, Trinity; brothers-in-law,
Clifford, Louis, Alford, Bobby, Ricky, Eddie and Johnny; sisters-in-laws,
Delia, Lynn (Sissy), June and Penny; his
best friend, Timmy Bluto and many aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides
his father Marcel Sr., he was predeceased by a nephew, Jeremy Johnson; his father-in-law, Clifford Patterson and sisters-in-law,
Rebecca and Trudy. A
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 20, 2012, at 5 p.m. from The
Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. The Reverend Roland Ludlam will officiate. Interment will take place later in
Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Albans. Friends
may call at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. until the hour of
