DATELINE: Swanton, Vermont Mrs. Jeannette D. Daudelin, age
89 years, a longtime resident of the Highgate Road
died Monday morning January 23, 2012, in Redstone Villa. Born in Ste. Armand, Quebec Canada on November 4, 1922,
she was the daughter of the late Leo and Ida (Bourjea)
Dupont. She attended schools in Canada and on December
6, 1945, was married to Wilfred Daudelin who
predeceased her on December 14, 2007, She was a devoted wife, mother and
grandmother and a faithful parishioner of Nativity / St. Louis Parish. Jeannette leaves two daughters, Claire Daudelin of Swanton and Lucille Rixon
and her husband Michael of St. Petersburg, FL; four sons and their wives,
Marcel and Debbie of Concord, NH, Roland and Peggy of Swanton, Robert and
Nancy of Huntington, and Larry and Susan of Dover, NH; four grandchildren,
Eric Daudelin and wife Erin of Fletcher, Derick Daudelin and wife Lorraina stationed with the U.S. Navy in Virginia,
Courtney Daudelin of Concord, NH and Haley Daudelin of Huntington; a great granddaughter, Alaina Daudelin; a
brother-in-law, Medor Parent of S. Burlington and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Wilfred, she was predeceased by her
sister, Mignonne Parent and a brother, Lionel Dupont. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated
Saturday January 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the
Blessed Virgin Mary, 65 Canada St., Swanton. Father Thomas D. Nadeau will be
the celebrant and homilist. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow
at the Daudelin family lot in St. Mary's Roman
Catholic Cemetery. At Jeannette's request
there will be no public calling hours. The family will receive friends
following the Committal Services at a reception to be held at the Nativity
Parish Center. Gifts in Jeannette's memory may be made to, St. Anne's
