Depatie, EOBITUARY: Elizabeth Anna Depatie

DATELINE:  Highgate, Vermont

 

Elizabeth Anna Depatie, age 22 years, a lifelong Highgate resident died early Saturday morning, July 30, 2011, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.

 

Born in St. Albans on, April 6, 1989, Elizabeth was the daughter of Luc and Edith (Beauvais) Depatie. She was a 2007 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School and since 2009 has been associated with the Hannaford Supermarket in Saint Albans. Elizabeth was a lifelong parishioner of Nativity / Saint Louis Roman Catholic Parish.

 

In addition to her parents Luc and Edith Depatie of Highgate, Elizabeth leaves two sisters, Jessica Parks and her children, Rebecca Carolan and Annamarie Carolan of Alcoa, TN and Cassy Marie Kemmer of Brookline, MA; a brother, Ethan Depatie stationed with the U.S. Army at Ft. Stewart, GA; maternal grandparents, Marcel and Claire Beauvais of St. Albans; paternal grandmother, Gisele Bilodeau and her husband Germain of Highgate as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Leopold Depatie in 1999.

 

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 65 Canada St., Swanton. Father Thomas D. Nadeau will be the celebrant and homilist. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Lamkin St., Highgate Ctr. Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Gifts in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Vermont Food Bank, Williston Industrial Park, 33 Parker Rd., Barre 05641
