OBITUARY: SHIRLEY GALDDEN

DATELINE: SAINT ALBANS / SWANTON

Shirley Gladden died Sunday morning, May 16, 2010, at the Redstone Villa in St. Albans City at the age of 85. She was a lifelong resident of the St. Albans / Swanton areas.

Shirley was the youngest daughter of the late Ernest and Jessie (Camp) Gladden of Swanton. Her siblings were Marion Champagne Lacross of Swanton, Doris Dumond of Ottawa, ON, Naomi (Billie) Gardner of St. Albans, Jean Sullivan of St. Albans and Bernard Gladden of Montpelier, all deceased.

She is survived by a sister, Donna Daidone of Vero Beach, FL and a brother, Raymond Gladden of St. Albans as well as by numerous nieces and nephews many of whom still reside in the St. Albans area.

Shirley will be missed by her niece, Donna Sullivan of Nepean, ON as well as friends Dorothy Prieur also of Nepean and Janice Worrel of Mc Adam, NB. She will also be missed by Shirley Austin and other residents of the Lake St. Senior Housing where Shirley lived for more that 20 years.
