DATELINE: Alburgh, Vermont At the age of 80, Harriet Westover Pearson passed
away August 25, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Harriet was born January 12, 1931, in Alburgh, Vermont, daughter of James and Nellie (Bohannon)
Westover. Harriet enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening at her home and
especially loved spending time with her family. She will always be remembered by her sister, Eileen
Avery of Bloomfield, Connecticut as well as her nine children, Sandra
Vincent, Joseph Aldridge, Jo-Anne Bourgeois, Nancy Clayton, Harriet Delaney,
John Aldridge, Susan Bourdeau, Marlene Ovitt and Jill Creller. Harriet
was also a proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and
two great-great grandchildren, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Her
companion Cuddles, the devoted Maltese, will miss her dearly as well. Among her many strengths and accomplishments, she
managed to further her education and owned and operated a very successful
income tax preparation business in St. Albans, VT for 17 years. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated
Tuesday August 30, 2011, at 10 a.m. from Saint Amadeus Roman Catholic Church,
Main Street, Alburgh Village. Father Lawrence P.
Ridgley will be the celebrant and homilist. The Rite of Committal and
Interment will follow In Saint Amadeus Cemetery. There will be no public
calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her
name to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 55 Day Lane,
