DATELINE: Alburgh Springs,
Vermont Andrew Tremblay, 91, passed away peacefully
late Friday afternoon, February 3, 2012, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care
Facility in Burlington after suffering a stroke on January 31st. Andrew was born at home in Alburgh Springs on June 24, 1920, the son of the late
Joseph and Martha (Boucher) Tremblay. He attended grade school at Alburgh Springs and started farming at the age of 11 and
farmed his entire life, but always enjoying a little hunting and fishing. Andrew is survived by one brother, Clement
and one sister, Laura both of Alburgh Springs; one
niece, Joan Whitesell and husband Ron; two nephews,
Alan Ouimette and wife Sally and Jason Tremblay and
wife Lorie and two special great nephews and a great niece, Cody Ouimette, Liam Tremblay and Rogue Tremblay. Besides his parents, Andrew was predeceased
by four brothers, Omer, Gerald, Paul and Philip and two sisters, Leona and
Rosanna. Funeral Services will be held in the Spring
from the Tremblay family lot in St. Amadeus Roman Catholic Cemetery. Gift's in Andrew's memory may be made to the Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue, 4 Firehouse
