West Swanton, Vermont Marjorie
Wieland-Tucker of Swanton, VT died at the age of 52 on, July 7, 2010, in the
Vermont Respite House in Williston, VT after a two year struggle with ovarian
cancer. She was born on, July 3, 1958,
in Washington, DC to Marie and Charles Wieland. Marjorie grew up in Maryland
before moving to Virginia in 1978. Later she also resided in Golden, CO and
Montreal Canada before settling in Swanton, VT in 2007. Marjorie is
survived by her husband of 25 years, Charles Tucker of Swanton, VT; her
children, Brian Clark of Roanoke, VA, Patrick Clark of Barre, VT, Eric Tucker
of Brooklyn, NY and Travis Tucker of Eagle Mountain, UT; her grandchildren,
Elysia and Elias Manriquez of Barre,
VT, Ian Charles Tucker of Eagle Mountain, UT and Rowan Clark of Roanoke, VA;
her siblings, George Wieland of Pasadena, MD, Charles Wieland of Blounts Creek,
NC, James Wieland of Bedford, VA and William Wieland of Altoona, PA. Marjorie
received her BA and MBA from Lynchburg College. For the past nine years she
worked with Molson Coors Brewing Company. Marjorie
enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, kayaking, cooking, reading,
bicycling, hiking, yoga and ice fishing. The family
would like to extend a special thank you to all of the friends and neighbors
that provided help and support over the last two years. We would also like to
extend our thanks to the staff at Franklin County Home Health Agency and the
staff at the Vermont Respite House. In lieu of
flowers, Marjorie has asked that donations be made to the Franklin County
Home Health Agency and or the Vermont Respite House. For Franklin County Home
